As the creator of Scipress, I thought it'd be a good idea to explain what the platform is and why I spent the last six months of my life building it.

- Posts are backed up on every save. Fetch and restore an old version in seconds.

- How much does it cost?
- It's free to read, write, and host content. If you sell access to paywalled content, Scipress collects 10% + $0.30 per sale. We use that money to pay for hosting, transaction fees, R&D, etc.
- Can I write posts with AI, like ChatGPT?
- No, Scipress is for human writers only.
- If I publish a post on Scipress, who owns it?
- You. We don't claim ownership of the content you write.
- Can I use a custom domain?
- Not yet. It's possible we may implement this in the future if there's enough demand for it.
- Can I customize the HTML and CSS of my content?
- Essentially, yes. You can inject HTML into a post and use Tailwind CSS classes to style it. However, we don't allow custom JavaScript, and you can't modify our out-of-the-box navigation system at this time.
- Will I have access to see and message my subscribers?
- Still figuring this out. If this is important to you, nudge us.
